Being You with Family at Christmas

Every year, we get a round robin from a cousin, with a list of her and her family’s achievements during the past year. They live near the Great Lakes in Canada and we visited 2 years ago. When I read the round robin, I would feel bad, I had not done pickle ball and got a medal for it, I had not picked up my canoe and packed it away, for the winter. She was hiding serious health concerns, redundancy and chaotic, house moves. On being shown around the beautiful Canadian countryside, she could not understand my food preference for gluten and dairy free and not thrilled to visit her favourite, attraction a milkshake and hot dog parlour.

The other cousin was quite open about her health concerns and a lot more fun, come and stay with my husband’s a great cook, look at the changes he has made, what would you like to do? We get to the travel to the sun each year to manage my condition.

At Christmas, we get to spend time with family and friends those with share similar patterns and opinions. Some of them rub us up the wrong way, others we can sink into gratefully. For many, years I choose to spend Christmas alone. Much to the fury of family and friends. I loved walking in nature and seeing the light change, and going home gratefully. We are told no-one should be alone at Christmas, what if it is choice?

This year, I am authorised to teach a class called Stepping into being you at Christmas. It is on Saturday 7th December from 14.00 until 17.00. We will use the tools and processes from Access Consciousness® so, you can have more ease at Christmas.
