The starting point is delightful. Dando Compton Village Hall is set in a beautiful hamlet in the fold of a hill. A stream runs along the front; and the back overlooks fields in which there were sheep and lambs. It is right next door to “The Compton Arms”, a pub which serves reasonably priced food.
